Apple Music for Android update brings videos and the ability to sign-up for a family account

Apple Music for Android is still considered beta, and as such it wasn’t quite complete. The biggest features missing from the music streaming app were support for videos and the ability to sign-up for an Apple Music family account without needing an iOS devices.

Thankfully those two features are no longer missing as part of today’s update. Apple has thousands of music videos available for some of the songs in their library. It’s a nice change of pace if you are looking for something visual to focus on while you’re jamming to tunes.

Family accounts are also huge. You pay just $14.99 per month for 6 people to listen to as many tunes as they want. Compare this to Spotify which asks you to pay $10 for a base account and $5 for each extra person who wants to listen. Totally worth it.

Of course, many of you are likely to be deeply invested in Google Play Music, but if you’re an Apple Music user all of this is welcome news. Be sure to find the update right here.
