Not lucky enough to receive a Google IO invite? As we’ve seen in years past, Google is rounding up the tickets that went unclaimed in the big raffle and making them available to the unfortunate developers who didn’t get selected the first time around.
Emails are starting to hit inboxes notifying potential attendees that they have been reserved a ticket to attend the event. What’s more is that there won’t be a 24-hour time limit on cashing the ticket in like there was for the first batch of invites: the new group has until May 9th to get signed up.
That’s little more than a week before Google I/O is set to kick off on May 18th, so it’s safe to say that this is going to be the last opportunity for people to attend the event. As you know, a general admission ticket costs $900, while students get in for just $300. Try and scrape up the funds as soon as you can and get your order in if you’re lucky enough to have gotten a second chance.
