Blackberry PRIV’s Marshmallow update won’t arrive until May

0

Blackberry held a conference call today to talk about their Q1 performance. It wasn’t good — they only pulled in $464 million for revenue, but ended up incurring $18 million in operating losses plus another $220 million in a write off of deferred revenue from acquisitions. We know they’re struggling and they have solid plans to turn things around.

But you don’t really care about that, do you? You might care more about this if you’re a proud owner of a Blackberry PRIV: the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update won’t be out this month. Instead, we’re said to stay on the lookout for it to arrive this May.

It’s not hard to believe the update will be due soon, what with people already testing it and all. Blackberry still won’t divulge anything regarding any potential new features or changes, but we’re sure any relevant details will be discovered around the time this thing starts rolling out. Be sure to see  the device’s Marshmallow update in action right here.
