Let the games begin! Google got started a little too early, but now that we’re 1 day shy of April Fools (it’s already April 1st for some parts of the world, of course) you can expect the good times to roll. Samsung is up next, with the company posting a teaser for the #TheNextGalaxy tomorrow.
The photo shows a nice blue ‘8’, and that’s it. This would seem to suggest a Samsung Galaxy S8 is being revealed tomorrow!
Ha. Ha. Not the most creative joke we’re going to see this week, but it certainly does fit Samsung, a company known to announce devices back to back like they’re candy. The majority of their announcements are usually mid-range offerings, of course, and we wouldn’t expect them to make their brand new flagship obsolete mere weeks after launch.
It’s always nice when a company can poke fun at themselves. But you’re not fooling anyone, Samsung — we know the Galaxy S8 will be here eventually. Just not tomorrow.
