Not long after hearing about the LG G5’s official release date in South Korea, Best Buy has revealed their plans for pre-sale opportunities. The company is letting you snag the device for $99 on a two-year contract through Sprint after $100 in savings, though there are also installment plans available for AT&T and Sprint which will net you a $100 gift card if you prefer those routes. Details for Verizon customers weren’t mentioned (and T-Mobile folks need not apply, because Best Buy doesn’t offer T-Mobile devices).
What’s more is that the company is giving away $90 with of accessories with each purchase, including a spare battery, a battery charging dock for charging that spare battery, and a USB Type-C adapter for using the LG G5’s shiny new Type-C port with older technology.
The AT&T and Sprint models are available for pre-purchase as soon as today, while those wanting it on Verizon will have a short wait as Best Buy won’t be opening that up until March 24th. These early pre-sale dates indicate LG’s “Early April” expectations are still on, though we still don’t have confirmation whether we’ll be seeing it as soon as the folks in South Korea will (March 31st). Who’s buying?
