Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S6 is now getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow

0

Sprint customers who own a Samsung Galaxy S6 are finally joining in on the Marshmallow fun. The update is now heading out to handsets. It’s pretty large at around 1,235MB, so before you check for it — do that by going to Settings > About Device > Software Update — you’ll want to get a nice charge and hop onto WiFi.

Sprint’s version doesn’t differ much from all the other Galaxy S7 units (in fact, it has the same build number as the international unlocked model), so all you’ll get alongside the standard Marshmallow features is a tweaked TouchWiz UI that features different colors and improved icons. Be sure to check for it as soon as possible!
