While we don’t know exactly when Verizon plans on rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow to the Motorola Droid Turbo 2, we know we’re getting closer. In fact, Verizon may have jumped the gun, updating their support page for the device with details on the Marshmallow update, but not before realizing their mistake and quickly taking it down. Here’s what was posted the short time it was live on Verizon’s site:
No real surprises there, these are all features part of Android 6.0 Marshmallow — which we’ve covered thoroughly in previous posts. So while we haven’t learned anything new, Verizon Turbo 2 owners can rest assured the update is almost ready.
Back in December, the Droid Turbo 2 Employee Edition received an update to Marshmallow a few days after the soak test began for members of the Motorola Feedback Network. So we know we’re getting close. Like, really, really close.
