Here’s a quick heads-up for the T-Mobile faithful who were waiting for the Blackberry PRIV: you can buy it starting today. The device is going for $0 down on Magenta, though that doesn’t come without a commitment to pay off its $720 retail price tag over the course of 24 months.
The Blackberry PRIV is the first ever Android phone by the Waterloo company. Its hefty price tag doesn’t quite shine through in its use of a Snapdragon 808 chipset, but the device is plenty capable in most other areas. It has a 5.4-inch Quad HD display, an 18 megapixel camera with 4K video recording, 32GB of storage, 3GB of RAM and a neat slide-out physical keyboard that lets you type in portrait orientation.
Want one? Go ahead and order one from T-Mobile’s online store, or stop into your local shop as they should also have them on store shelves at brick and mortar locations nationwide.
