OnePlus X gets manual mode and save to SD option for camera app in latest update

0

OnePlus is starting the rollout of OxygenOS 2.2.0 for the OnePlus X. This update brings some nice changes for the camera app. The biggest change is the addition of manual mode, which allows you to change quite a few advanced settings like shutter speed and ISO.

Staying with the camera, OnePlus also added an option that lets you save photos and video to the SD card instead of internal storage, if you prefer. This should afford you much more breathing room if you use microSD cards. Here’s the full list of what’s changing:

  • Manual mode for Camera App
  • Save to SD card option in Camera App
  • USSD bug fix for India
  • Added dual SIM preferences back in system settings
  • OTA App upgrade
  • Security patches
  • General bug fixes and optimizations

It’s worth pointing out that this will be an incremental rollout, so not everyone will see the update right away. You can head to settings to check anyway, so be sure to do that as soon as you can.
