Another new shot of the Xiaomi Mi 5 has popped up in the wild. This time we get a look at the white variant in the flesh, something we knew was coming thanks to earlier leaked renders. Nothing seems out of the ordinary compared to what we’ve seen previously.
Nothing seems out of the ordinary compared to what we’ve seen previously, though we should note that our early assessment of its looks (we thought it looked quite… Apple-y) might not be echoed if we were to look at this model in a vacuum. Regardless of how close it looks to an iPhone, though, it still looks pretty nice.
It should be just as savory beneath the hood, too, with 4GB of RAM, 1080p or QHD resolution, a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 16GB or 64GB of storage, 3,030 mAh battery, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and a fingerprint scanner. It should be quite the hot item at its expected price point of around $309. We should be tuned into more official details next month as that’s when Xiaomi is rumored to be taking the wraps off.
