T-Mobile announced in a statement today 14 new partners joining their Binge On lineup of on-demand streaming content. New options include cable TV standards like A&E, Lifetime, and History, as well as digital content providers including PlayStation Vue. The new services build on a library of content that launched last November and includes Netflix and HBO streaming for qualified users.
Binge On is one of T-Mobile’s latest Un-carrier moves, offering high-quality video streaming that doesn’t cut into users’ monthly LTE data allotments, and apparently one of their most successful to date. Video streaming is said to be up 12% overall, with some seeing as much as 66% boosts in traffic. One of the best aspects of Binge On is its price. It’s not an option or add-on, but rather a standard part of all of T-Mobile’s Simple Choice plans, giving unlimited streaming access at no extra cost (outside of your regular subscription fees to the digital content providers of your choosing).

And T-Mobile says it is currently working with at least 50 additional content streaming services for addition to Binge On in the future. Seems like a pretty god time to be a T-Mobile customer, we’d reckon.
