The HTC One X9 was a device that sounded way too good to be true when it first leaked. It had a range of very powerful specs unlike anything we’ve ever seen out of HTC. It was only a day later that reputable leaksters refuted the specs and said to expect a more mid-range option.
Those expectations seem to be more accurate as the device’s recent visit to the TENAA has exposed some of its specs alongside new shots of the thing. Here’s a quick rundown of what the TENAA is claiming:
- 5.5-inch full HD display
- 2.2GHz Quad-Core chipset (MediaTek variety?)
- 13 Megapixel rear camera, 5 Megapixel front camera
- 16GB of Storage, 2GB of RAM
- microSD
- 153.2 X 75.9 x 7.99mm, 174 grams
That seems to line up quite nicely with Evan Blass’s expectations, who was one of the whistleblowers to call shenanigans on the original spec sheet. As such, it’s wise not to expect a groundbreaking device, and if your purchase decision hinged on the possibility that the original leak was accurate then we’d say it’s safe to start looking at other options.
