Verizon customers can finally use Samsung Pay by getting the app from Google Play

Well, folks, it’s finally full circle. Samsung Pay can now be downloaded from the Google Play Store. This means little to the folks on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular who have already gotten firmware updates to add Samsung Pay, but those on Verizon haven’t been as fortunate.

If you have a Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus or Note 5 in Verizon, you’re good to go. Don’t forget that Samsung Pay is only compatible with a few cards and banks to start. You can find out if yours are on the list right here.

As for everyone else, the app’s arrival in Google Play is still a big deal. It means updates will arrive as soon as Samsung can push an APK to the Play Store, and that means no having to wait on slow carriers to get them. Now let’s work on inflating that compatibility list a little bit! Fin your download right here.
