It’s never too early to start thinking about the cases you want for that next smartphone you’re going to buy, so case manufacturers like Spigen like to reveal their plans early on. The same thing happened today for the Nexus 5X.
The company is currently showing a couple of the cases they’re planning to offer for the device at launch. For starters, there’s the Case Ultra Hybrid, a translucent $24.99 hard shell that should protect your device while allowing its natural looks to shine through.
They’re also planning to release a Case Thin Fit which will come in Black, White and Blue to seemingly match the colors the device itself will be offered in. These things aren’t translucent, though, so you won’t see much exposed on the rear save for the camera bits and fingerprint scanner. That particular case will run you $14.99.
They’re also planning entry-level screen protectors for $9.99, and the more resilient GLAStR SLIM protectors for $34.99 which use tempered glass with curved edges to protect your display. The best part is you can actually add these items to your cart right now and check out if you want, but don’t expect them to ship until at least October 2nd, and even then you may have to wait a bit longer for actual deliver. Check them out right here.
