It appears another big round of updates is going out to Nexus devices today. T-Mobile’s letting loose word of updates for the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 and Nexus 9. All of the builds will be receiving LMY48M, save for the Nexus 6 which will get its own special build of LYZ28K, and the Nexus 7 which gets LMY48P.

We’re not exactly sure what they contain, but a generic “Android security enhancements” entry in the patch notes suggest this is the September edition of Google’s promised monthly security updates. We’ll have to see if we can track down which exact critical security vulnerabilities were given treatment this go around. We’d also expect the Nexus Player and Nexus 10 to get these updates, but as those aren’t tied to specific carriers we’ll have to wait for Google’s word.

Soon to follow should be factory images for doing a fresh install, or OTA images to manually download and flash over your current Lollipop installation. We’ll be on the lookout for those, but in the meantime you should keep a lookout for an OTA on your Nexus device!
