There still isn’t much known about the 2015 Moto 360, which Motorola might have given us an early look at late last week. Today we learn that the company could be planning two different size options for the device, though.
The Moto 360 has stopped at the Brazilian equivalent of the FCC, and there were two different variants listed: 360S and 360L. We imagine the letters stand for “small” and “large,” respectively.
We wouldn’t be surprised to learn that Motorola wants to introduce more options for those who prefer smaller watches. The company is all about choice, something proven by their device customization feature Moto Maker. Giving choice is also a logical approach for increasing sales, as it could draw in users who thought the previous model was too big or too small.
It’s a trend we imagine will catch on with most manufacturers in due time, and if the new Moto 360 turns out to be a hit we’re sure it won’t take long for others to follow along.
