Samsung reminds us what the pen has done for humanity ahead of Galaxy Note 5 unveil

Samsung sure loves being a tease, don’t they? The company is doing it again for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, which we’re expecting to see at their upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.

This time, they give us a little reminder that the pen is important. Not just nice digitized styli like the one which ships with the Note line, but all pens, from now until the earliest of the human species’ existence.

The pen marks up important documents and provides equally important signatures. It’s also a vehicle for artistic expression and creativity. No matter how much technology progresses, the classic pen might never die. But we’re hoping the Galaxy Note 5 would make it a hard decision either way. We’ll find out August 13th.
