We’re back with another day of Phandroid’s Gift-a-Day Giveaway, giving you guys not only another great new gift idea, but a chance at winning some pretty awesome prizes. Today, we’re taking a look at next-gen key finders, Bluetooth enabled devices that can not only help you find where you left your keys, but your smartphone as well. Oh, and if you’re running Android 5.0 Lollipop or above, you can even bypass your lock screen when in proximity to them. Let’s take a look.
Motorola Keylink
The Keylink is Motorola’s tiny little Bluetooth 4.0 enabled key fob. It’s water resistant (not proof) and using Motorola’s Connect app for most Android devices, can make either the key fob or your smartphone ring up to 100 feet away. Motorola says the battery will last up to a full year using a standard coin cell battery.

Motorola Power Pack Micro
The Motorola Power Pack Micro works much in the same way as the Keylink. Pairs with your smartphone via Bluetooth, and can either ring your smartphone using the Motorola Connect app, or use the app to ring the power pack. The difference is the Power Pack Micro features a 1,500mAh battery that can be used to juice up your smartphone in emergencies. It comes in a wide variety of colors and finishes: dark canvas, light canvas, spice, red, violet, lemon lime, turquoise, and royal blue (pictured above).

HTC Fetch
By now you know how things little things work. The HTC Fetch features Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy to keep battery draining at a minimum (about 6 months before you need to replace the battery). It can connect from about 15 meters away and can even be used as a remote for the camera on your Android device. It’s only $25 right now, but you’ll probably want to get 2-day shipping for $6 extra if you’re looking to get this as a gift.

Tile
The Tile, while a veteran so to speak when it comes to smartphone/key finders has only just recently become available for Android devices. The companion app — available here on Google Play — can either play a tone on whatever the Tile is attached to, or show you the last known connection of the Tile before you came out of contact with it. It’s only available for Android 4.4 KitKat devices and up, so that’s something to consider.
The best part is you can connect up to 8 these, attaching them to anything you frequently misplace. Also, the more you buy in a pack (up to 12), the bigger the discount. Could make a really great stocking stuffer and with available Amazon Prime shipping, it’s sure to arrive before Christmas.
