We are officially over halfway through our 20 days of gift ideas for the Gift-a-Day Giveaway! For today’s gift idea we’ve got an awesome accessory that turns your smartphone into a bow. You can play games (and excercise} with a bow just like if you were at an arcade or in the Hunger Games. It’s called BowBlade.
The BowBlade looks like a normal-ish bow, but the big difference is a mount for your phone. Where you would normally look down the sites to aim you place your phone in the grips. BowBlade pairs with your phone to act as a controller for over 80 Android and iOS games.
BowBlade is not only for fun and games. It can be used as a fitness device since you have to use more than just your thumbs to play, but it’s also great for people in wheelchairs since you don’t have to stand up. It’s a fun and healthy time for everyone. Just make sure your aim is good.

Today is yet another chance to enter our massive giveaway for a chance to win Nexus devices and smartwatches. Be sure to enter every single day to improve your chances of winning. Entries for this day will remain open until 11:59 PM (Eastern) on December 21st. Good luck!
Nice, but can it also be without the dock itself?
That doesn’t look anything like my Hoyt Carbon Element. I can mount a Contour camera on that to film POV shots.
PS – bows don’t have “sites” like guns, they have a single “sight” (with fixed pins) which you line up with your “peep” which is embedded in the string.
I think it’s just a typo, but you are right about that only have a single sight, which is similar in construct to some rear iron sights for rifles but mounted horizontally.
Now I want a real bow.
