Twitter app update Android

A newly redesigned Twitter 5.0 app hit Android beta channels not too long ago. Aside from a fresh, new Holo-esque design, the update also (finally) introduced inline images. This allowed users to quickly preview native Twitter images without having to first jump into a tweet — something 3rd party clients have been doing since forever now.

Today, Twitter is finally ready to bring some of that functionality to regular ‘ol Twitterers, thanks to the latest official update now available for both Android and iOS. Just as we saw before, images will now be displayed directly inside users’ feeds, with Vine videos also joining the party. To show off the new update, Twitter was even nice enough to put together a quick Vine (at least someone’s still using the service).
