If you’ve been looking for a decent price for a Nexus 10, you might want to consider Woot.com’s deal going on today only. Today’s featured deal is for a 32GB version of the Samsung-made tablet. It normally goes for $499.99 in the Google Play Store, but you can get it for just $330 (which, if you haven’t figured it out, is savings of about $170).

There is a catch, of course. This tablet is refurbished, meaning it’s not necessarily guaranteed to be in the freshest condition. That said, allow me to settle your mind about refurbished products — they’re often perfectly fine.

Most refurbished products are returns from people who decide they don’t want them for one reason or another. You might get one that was actually broken at one point in time, but most manufacturers’ refurbishing processes are so good that it might look / work even better than when it was new.

Of course, the Nexus 10 isn’t the newest, youngest kid on the block these days. We’ll be coming up on a year since it was first available next month. That timing suggests Google could be looking to bring us a refreshed Nexus 10 soon, though it’s been tough to pinpoint an exact date.

Some are suggesting we could see the Nexus 10 unveiled alongside the Nexus 5, Google’s 5th Nexus phone, which many believe will be coming by the end of this month. We won’t be putting too much stock into those hopes, but we’ll definitely be keeping our fingers crossed for that to happen. If you don’t mind grabbing the Nexus 10 at a steep discount, though, be sure to head to Woot.com.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Nexus 10 showing as “out of inventory” on Play Store right now.

    1. it shows the 16 gb version out of stock, but the 32 gb version is still there, well for me anyways. i wonder if this means the new nexus 10 refresh is coming out sooner rather that later.

      1. That changed. The 32GB model was showing out of stock earlier.
Damn, I was getting my hopes up.

  2. NO GO for me…..as soon as you mentioned that it’s even a possibility that I might get a “past broken” tablet I just cannot do it!!! I’d rather spend the extra $100 and get it straight from Google all nice and shiny and new. I’ve always been this way about my tech toys…gotta be new or it’s not gonna be.

    1. I love my Galaxy note 10.1 that was refurbished! Got it for 230$ when they were selling for 450$. Looks brand new. Even if someone returns an opened item for the reason they didn’t like it, it has to get sold as refurbished by most retailers. It’s a good way to save a bit of cash and most the items look like new!

  3. 330 is too expensive for a refurbished nexus 10.
woot will probably still sell plenty.
250 is about as much as I would pay for 1 of those.

  4. I’ve had terrible luck with refurbished items, many dead on arrival. I’ll stay clear of this.

  5. This is on eBay 32GB brand new for 349.99 for today only, so why get a refurb when you can go new for $20 more.
