Is this the Samsung Galaxy “NX” mirrorless Android camera?

Earlier, we told you about a report out of Korea Times where JK Shin reportedly confirmed Samsung would be bringing a mirrorless Android-based camera to the forefront on June 20th. The verdict on that is still out, but another interesting leak today might have given us our first look at the device — or, at least, what it might look like — ahead of time.

This comes to us courtesy of Vietnamese outlet Tinhte. It looks like a very believable product shot for a mirrorless camera that is being called the “Samsung Galaxy NX.” The name is quite believable considering Samsung’s current mirrorless model is named the Samsung NX200. The device is shown with an 18-55mm lens, a, 18-200 lens, and an 85mm prime lens, all of which we assume are the same standard NX-mount lenses that can be used with the NX200 and other NX-mount camera bodies.

According to the leaksters, the Galaxy NX will be introduced with a 20 megapixel APS-C sensor, and will utilize Android 4.2 to give users an interface for not only snapping photos, but editing and sharing them, as well. This would be one very exciting product if true, but we’ll have to wait until June 20th to know whether or not what we’re seeing actually exists. Would you buy this body and a lens or two for your next camera purchase?
