Game for Fame: Beat our Beach Buggy Blitz high-score to win a ASUS Transformer Pad (TF300) [Contest]

We are happy to announce the next round of Game for Fame! Thanks everyone for making last week’s Game for Fame a big success!  We would like to congratulate reader Alan Farris on winning a Nexus 7″ Tablet as part of last week’s contest.

In case you missed it, the concept is pretty simple: we play and review an Android game and if you can beat our high score (and prove it), you’re entered to win.

We’ve got our friends at NVIDIA with us again to provide the winner a brand new ASUS Transformer Pad (TF300) AND keyboard dock AND controller!!!  Two tablets in two weeks?!?!  Insane, I know!

This week’s game: Beach Buggy Blitz. Watch the Beach Buggy Biltz Review below, take special note of the high score, and make sure you follow ALL of the directions to ensure your entry is eligible.

How To Enter:

  • Watch the Beach Buggy Blitz Review video posted above and take note of our high score.
  • Download the game from the Google Play Store or the Tegra Zone and start playing!
  • Beat our high score and capture a picture, video, or screenshot of this high score from the leadership board (with your unique username)
  • Post your picture/video proof and your name from the leaderboard to the comments section of this post including a link to your promotion of the contest on social media as described below.
  • Head on over to Google+, Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube and post at least one of the following:
    • Google+: #GameForFame with Beach Buggy Blitz to Win an Android Tablet from +NVIDIA and +Phandroid
    • Twitter: #GameForFame with Beach Buggy Blitz to win an Android Tablet from @NVIDIATegra and @Phandroid
    • Facebook (+ means tag): #GameForFame with Beach Buggy Blitz to Win an Android Tablet from +NVIDIA Tegra and +Phandroid
    • YouTube: Show your high score proof as a video response to the above video
Selecting a winner:
  • Everyone who shows proof of beating high score AND posts their promotion of our contest via a link to social media in thier comment, as explained above, will automatically be entered to win
  • We’ll select one random winner from those who have beaten our high score
  • Winner MUST show proof that:
    • The high score is actually theirs
    • They completed one of the social posting requirements (Google+, Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube) prior to being selected as a winner.

  • The winner must be 18+ years old and be a resident of the United States.
  • Contest entries will be accepted until Tuesday, April 2nd at 11:59PM Eastern
  • The winner will be selected at the sole discretion of Neverstill Media staff based on randomly drawing a winner’s name from amongst the valid entries
  • The winner will be contacted through the social media outlet used to promote the contest within 24-hours of the close of the contest.  If no response from the winning contestant is received, the prize will be forfeited, and Neverstill Media staff will identify and contact replacement winners until the requirements are met.
  • Only one entry per person is allowed. If multiple entries are submitted, Neverstill Media will choose one – at their sole discretion – for inclusion in the contest. If the multiple entries are excessive, entrant may be banned.
  • Neverstill Media reserves the right to disqualify anyone from this contest for any reason at their sole discretion.

Warm up those phones and/or tablets.  It’s blitzing time!

  1. Damn, another 18+ contest.. >.<

    1. Yeah, sorry…that’s pretty standard. Get a parent/guardian to enter for you.

  2. One of my favorite casual games, but I was just wondering if you were ever going to announce the winner of the Zen Pinball HD contest.

    1. He mentioned the winner in this very post!

      1. I’m Blind! Congrats, Allan Farris!

          1. You’re welcome! :) I love offering contests like this. The REAL thank you goes to NVIDIA, Rob Jackson and Neverstill Media!!! Awesome people/compaines!!!

  3. I already had this game on my phone, though I hadn’t played it too much. Had fun trying to beat your score!

Like last time, my username is foxpaw.

  4. This game is actually entertaining, thats a win on its own. Also looks awesome on my Note2

EDIT: hmmm guess I didn’t have to resize the image down… oh well

  5. Why US only?

  6. Why only US? If I am from UK can’t I participate and pay for the Post if I win?

    1. I’m looking into that with the editor-in-chief. I’ll let you know if I find out why.

It’s on Facebook too but for the life of me I can’t get a link for the post. Anyway it would great win, because I’m tired of using my sons ipad.

  8. Fun little game. Doesn’t run to well on my old phone but here’s to hoping I can play it on a tablet soon!

  9. Made by the guys who made Riptide GP, and feels similar (using my sixaxis controller), so it was easier to get up to speed and break the high score. A little too cartoony for my tastes, though.

    1. If you are still on here…you need to share your Google+ post publicly. Please do so, so that I can confirm your entry. Thanks!

    1. That’s definitely the plan. However, I wouldn’t expect a tablet every week. LOL. But nonetheless, we’ll try to always have cool prizes. Also, please tell your friends about it! I know it may decrease your odds of winning a bit, but in order to continue giving stuff away we have to be able to see a noticeable benefit to it! Thanks for participating!!!

  10. I’ve played the heck out of this game and given them some of my money (paid for the double coins, trying to refrain from ‘buying’ coins, feels like cheating). Hopefully they keep it updated and add new levels and stuff, but it’s still fun regardless. This is my best score so far.

    I think i did this right….it was complicated…

    1. Yep, you did it right.

    1. If you are still on here…you need to share your Google+ post publicly. Please do so, so that I can confirm your entry. Thanks!

  12. User fromthesticks
    Thanks phandroid, neverstill, and Nvidia.

  13. tired of all the contests requiring social media!!!!

    1. I understand your point of view, especially since I’m not a big social media fan myself. But in order for a company to be able to afford to offer cool prizes, they need to be able to benefit from it as well. Social media is an incredible advertising tool. So it makes sense that a contest would want to do that.

  14. how can i also participate

  15. How have I not known about this game!? Thanks for holding these contests Michael, and I look forward to the next one.

Awesome game , I wish there was more videos on youtube high scorers.
