Just as we expected, Gameloft has officially announced Iron Man 3 for mobile. Slated for Android April 25th, this game is being classified as an endless runner, meaning you’ll be flying and shooting your way through levels, collecting energy orbs and taking out baddies in the process. It seems a bit shallow to be the official game for the film, but it does feature some pretty nice visuals and fast-paced action.
The official gameplay trailer above should give you a good idea of what to expect. Those of you expecting a nice story-driven, multi-level campaign with more varied action might be disappointed, but depending on how this game is priced once it launches it might end up winning you over. We won’t pass judgment until we’ve gotten our hands on it for ourselves.
Perhaps we’ll have that chance today as we’re at GDC where Gameloft is showing off some of its wares, so we’ll give you guys a closer look if we’re able to get some hands-on time. In the meantime, hit that play button above and get excited if you’re a die hard Iron Man fan.
It doesn’t seem interesting at all :/
99 cents or GTFO. No more than $3 for this game. That is all.
Oh, and did you say “pass judgement”?
“Divine light pass Judgement… Holy Lance!!”
looks boring and repetitive
Not another endless runner game. We’ve already got Temple Run, Subway Surfers, and tons of clones…
looks cheesey
rail fail.
Its a free-to-play. =-0
I would be more excited if they pasted an IronMan theme over Ski Safari!
