Gameloft has been hard at work on a new update for its premier racing title and it’s finally gone live in the Google Play Store. Racers will be treated to a new car with the SSC Tuatara, Shelby’s supercar that tops out at 1,350 horsepower for a max of 276 miles per hour. A new lottery will give folks a chance to win Koenigsegg’s Agera R.
On top of that, two new championship cups have been added: one for Lamborghini and one of the aforementioned Tuatara. All new events and time trials have been added, as well, so there’s a lot to sink your teeth into. If you’re feeling a bit fast and you need a new reason to pick this thing up (perhaps Real Racing 3’s freemium model hasn’t been your cup of tea) then give it a quick download in the Google Play Store.
Does it still need to verify each time you try to play on the Nexus 7?
With my GS3 it does. The biggest problem is not being able to actually connect to the server to do the verify.
That sucks because that’s the reason why I uninstalled it in the first place
I’d take Real Racing’s freemium model over paying Gameloft for the privilege of their IAP filled game. I just recently uninstalled Asphalt 7 because I hit the point where I could no longer progress without buying money or stars for cars and upgrades. And I paid for the game!
I had no problem finishing the game, buying the Bugatti, etc without any IAP . Just done some multiplayer events.
What? I finish the game without doing any IAP…There might be a couple of tracks that you might have to play several times before you finish in 1st place, but there’s no need to spend more money on the game. What were you using the throughout the game, the care that you start off with?
Don’t forget that it fixes the low quality graphics on the Nexus 7 now the game looks how it does in the screenshots on google play
