The Android Overload is where we feature the biggest news stories from throughout the day (see above video), as well as stash all of the stories/articles/news bits that didn’t make it onto our front page. But just because they weren’t featured doesn’t mean they aren’t worth taking a look at. In fact, there’s almost always a little something here for everyone. So, take a look around and let us know if you find anything of interest.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  3. “cutting edge 800×480 display”

There’s nothing more horrific, yet funny, than a nouveau riche Russian. I bet Vertu will find the most of their clients in the vast lands of Russia, where people will pay $1K just to get and show off an iPhone.

    1. even the low resolution on the iphone 5 beats this resolution. low vs phones from autumn of 2011 till present lol.

  4. htc = joke

  5. Chris, keep up the video work man. You guys really need to expand your video offerings, and this is a good start. Video is something the other sites (droid-life, androidpolice etc) don’t do very well, if at all. If you can figure out a good formula and make compelling content you’ll be a step ahead. (The Verge does video better than anyone right now, but they throw buckets of cash around like it expires if they don’t get rid of it.)

Nice to see someone who’s confident and capable in front of the camera. Quick tip, next time white balance in the same room you’re shooting in with the same light you’ll use. (Unless you want the blue hue.) Also, your facial features are a tad washed out, so the iris should be dialed back a bit. Or the aperture lowered if you’re shooting on a DSLR. (Again, unless that’s how you want it to look.) Editing was great however, and the use of text and jump cuts is very “in” right now visually. All in all, looks good, and hope to see more of it!

    1. Hey, thanks for the tips! Really appreciate it :)

      1. No worries! I shoot/edit for a living. Sorry if I came off as “that guy” or a knowitall. Just trying to help a site I enjoy any way I can. :)

        1. Yeah, I’m still getting a feel for this video stuff. Just need some new software to add some pics to my video :)

  6. The background music is distracting. Please turn it down or turn it off
