Folks within the coverage area of US Cellular can feel free to put money down on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 now, as the regional carrier is currently offering the so-called phablet for pre-order. The phone is priced at $299.99 after instant rebate with service contract and is listed as shipping by the end of October. The pre-order is currently web-only.

The Note 2 will take advantage of US Cellular’s 4G LTE data coverage and likewise features specs identical to versions of the device slated for AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon’s network, including a quad-core Exynos processor and 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display. Other carrier have yet to open pre-orders for the device or announce further plans for release, but all are expected to receive the phone by mid-November at the latest.

          2. Is that supposed to be an insult or something?

          3. Ill check out Walmarts price. They are usually a bit cheaper. I could handle $250 with less walletary discomfort.

Edit: Also Im looking for the AT&T price.

  2. If only they (USC) had LTE in Chicago…

    1. Not going to happen for a long time if it does at all (directly from uscc that is). They have no spectrum to spare in Chicago (all 20mhz of it is being used for 3G).

I suspect US Cellular will strike a deal with Sprint to use their LTE network as native coverage in Chicago as USCC LTE phones are capable of roaming onto Sprint’s LTE network.

  3. I don’t mind 300 on contrect for this but T-Mobile needs to announce the release date

    1. That’s what I’m waiting for, come on T-Mobile!!!!

  4. what is the off-contract price?

    1. It’s gonna be around $650 – $800. It’s gonna be priced at between the halfway mark since it’s more of a tablet than phone.

    2. I bought the first one from AT&T for $650 so I would assume a slight price increase…

  5. I do understand why all the major carriers are taking forever to announce this thing….. I guess they don’t want to interrupt apples big week. I pray Verizon drop the juicy news next week or I’m burning something up! I’m getting very impatient!

  6. I wonder how much is it for T-Mobile in full price

  7. Give it 2 months it will be down 100 once more phones are out. Its going to be a big November this year.

  8. sprint price on 2 year contract?
