Tutorial videos for Droid Razr HD leaked, doesn’t giveaway much regarding features

20

We pretty much know the launch of the Motorola Droid Razr HD is just a couple of weeks away, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to stop covering minor leaks, does it? This time around, we’ve got some tutorial videos from you that have made their way to YouTube. You do get a look at the UI pretty clearly, and some of the in-built apps.

  1. Yawn. Moto puts me to sleep. Didn’t they already launch this phone….like 3 other times.

    1. It’s a big upgrade with the s4 processor and screen. I would like to see 2gb of ram and a removable battery. But it’s probably be faster than than my sg3 in a way because it’s not going to have as intrusive of a skin with blur(or what it is called) as compared with the memmory and processor eating touchwiz.
Not To mention it is built with the Kevlar back and all and al better materials I almost like it better than the sg3. Hope the boot loader is unlocked but doubt it. Unless google gets it done with the unlock tool

    2. kinda how apple and samsung do the same thing. apple is gonna release theirs a 4th time.

      1. You mean 6th time. iPhone 1, iPhone 2, iPhone 3, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S.

        1. NM

        2. *6th time

          1. Um no, this will be their 7th release

          2. Uhhh no. It will be the 6th. There was the iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and the iPhone 4S. That’s 5 so far, not 6. Ugggh

    3. >implying all of HTC’s phones don’t all look the same
      >implying all of Samsung’s phones don’t all look the same

  2. Ugly back cover…

    1. Google needs to reinvent Motorola if they want to succeed!

    2. You also must think engine bays that have powerdercoating, polished bits and carbon fiber are ugly too! Tool!!!

  3. Cool, no hard capacitive keys.

  4. Doesn’t look like a bad phone… but based on the Bionic experience:

    – A better phone will be released within 30-45 days
    – It will take a year to get JB, no matter how quickly it’s promised
    – Critical bugs will go unfixed for months and months

At least the SGS3 is unlockable (one way or the other) and should have JB soon.

    1. Uhh the Bionic’s “critical bugs” were fixed p.d.q. if you ask me. I don’t know what bugs you’ve got, but aside from the typical android shortfalls mine is bug-free…

  5. razr phones have most radiation

  6. I know this isn’t relevant but I just noticed on my Gnex. Does anyone have burn in from the software buttons on the bottom of the screen?

    1. No. Had mine since launch day. Is burn in even possible on amoled

  7. Features:
    -makes calls
    -makes texts
    -installs apps
    -connects to internet
    -faster processor than last version

Pretty much same all phones … why do people get excited about new phones again?

  8. Did they FINALLY remove the baby bump (camera hump) of the razr line? Thank god! Now I just need to decide whether this is something I would consider, or if I should cross my fingers for a “Maxx” version…
