Andrew Bell took to DYZPlastics’ blog to update us on the situation with the new series 03 mini collectible Android dolls. They originally wanted the dolls to ship by the end of Q2 2012, but that window has long come and gone.
They’re now shooting for Q3 and we understand that this window should be a lot more reliable. But what is the reason for delay? It looks like they’ve had to tweak the production process to make one small (but still rather large) change.
The Android dolls will now be produced with ball-jointed arms for more flexibility! Instead of only being able to move the dolls’ arms up and down you will now be able to move them in and out.
We can finally put it in more of a “waving” position instead of having it look like it’s raising its hand to ask the teacher a question. We’ll let you know once they are ready to start accepting orders on these, or you could keep your own tab on it over at their blog. PS: that little fella you see up above has a name — Pandroid!
So hyped for these! Gaaaaah.. I have too many already. When will it end?!?! :O
I have 3 of the icy blue ones from series 2… Wanna trade? :P
Mkay
Yup
People really buy these? Let me rephrase…. ADULTS really buy these?
I make mine out of industrial scrap…and they don’t look like that.
Ummm… they’re not dolls, they’re action figures!!!
“collectible figurines”
But it still won’t make you stop feeling uncomfortable while you justify yourself.
I see what they did there…
I don’t get into stuff like this unless I get in on the ground floor, and i never seem to get in on the ground floor. :(
