Motorola DROID RAZR HD pics leaked

22

Yesterday, we got some of our first looks at the Motorola RAZR HD. There wasn’t much to be seen except a nice looking display and a back plate reminiscent to an ugly Christmas sweater.

We expected Verizon’s version, which should come to market as the Motorola DROID RAZR HD, to look nearly identical, and thanks to a new leak we can now confirm that.

The only difference we can see is the absence of a couple of unsightly holes on the international version (and since that is just a test unit we imagine those won’t appear at retail).

Verizon’s version is clearly donned with the 4G LTE logo Verizon tends to use on its smartphones. We’re still waiting on concrete details regarding the device’s specs but at least it looks presentable aesthetically. [DroidForums, thanks Scott!]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Sweet giant bottom bezel where’d you get it the G2x store??? Lol, not everyone with small hands wants a Galaxy pocket…

    1. It’s not that big, half of that is the on screen nav buttons. If you shrink the nav buttons down you’ll have more screen and smaller bezel/nav area.

  2. I actually love the look of this phone. I’m curious as to the screen size and battery size though.

    1. Looking better… RAZR was weirdly angular near the “corners” and felt very odd in hand… this is looking more “traditional”.

  3. Screen size better be 4.7in at the least sick of Motorola’s smaller than the rest Android handsets

    1. 4.5 is plenty this is just the rumor tho

  4. 3300mAh or no deal.

    1. +1. Should be standard on all handsets.

    2. No deal then bruh cuz it comes wit 2530mAh. Still 2nd largest stock battery.

      1. Why don’t they realize that we want a larger battery, instead of thin phone?

        1. My wife has s3 wit 2100mAh she makes it thru the day no prob. This phone should b fine.

          1. I have a GS3 on Verizon, and mine can’t last half a day, i’m a heavy user. It all depends on the user i guess….

          2. Touche

  5. A lot of precious display space is taken up by a navigation bar. Seems a big waste.

    1. It’s funny how people complain when manufacturers don’t use on screen keys and then complain when they do.

    2. I love onscreen nav bar but moto screwed it up by having an extremely massive space below the screen for bezel. If ur gonna have a bezel that massive, just put the damn capacitive buttons on it. When it looks like how its above, it does look like wasted screen space. It looks like it was a HUGE afterthought

  6. Don’t buy this cause in about two months from now they are going to announce the Motorola Droid RAZR HD MAXXX +

    1. Don’t buy any android then because they are all like that.

  7. No webtop? Either way, ready for this phone.

  8. Where’s the Webtop? I pray to God it doesn’t have something gay like MHL. Universal standard, hahaha

  9. Sure hope it gets released with JB.

  10. I’d rather have flash support than have jelly bean, I want to go back to gingerbread on my RAZR maxx because ics update killed it
