LG Spectrum 2 for Verizon leaks

7

It seems Verizon can’t quite catch a break when it comes to leaks (did I just do something there?) Another phone of theirs has come out from the shadows.

It’s the LG Spectrum 2 and its renders were leaked by TechnoBuffalo. The original device was launched in the latter parts of 2011, and this does seem to be a substantial upgrade.

The specs we know of so far include a 4.7 inch HD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core S4 processor by Qualcomm, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, an 8 megapixel camera, NFC, 4G LTE, android 4.0, and more.

The design leaves a lot to be desired but we haven’t come to expect anything different from LG as of late. I mean, there’s only one way to make a rectangular phone… right, Apple?

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Looks hot. I’ve always been a big fan of sharp edges as opposed to round, pebble-like looking devices O_o

Sure it’s LG, but if offered for a good price, I wouldn’t be opposed to my mom getting this phone :p

    1. yea I also love the fact they din’t include then software keys but still included the 3 dot menu design on the capacitive keys

  2. Maybe with a good AOSP rom. That UI is hideous.

  3. What is it with lG and squared phones geez, look at te VU or whatever it’s called that think could straight up poke lol

  4. I wonder how long it’ll take to get Jelly Bean. I’ll never buy LG.

  5. To me, this is a long shot from a “substantial upgrade.” The current spectrum has 1.5ghz dual core along with 1gb of ram. The new version will have nfc and 4.0 but 4.0 will come to original spectrum as well.

  6. All they did was change the casing, enlarge screen, and increase the internal memory. Aside from that its the exact same as the Spectrum which was pretty much the same as the Nitro HD. Disappointing.
