Facebook Messenger receives significant upgrade

Facebook have upgraded their messenger application with some significant changes. Users can now include friends of friends in conversations, switch between convos using in-app notifications, see who’s available before starting a new conversation, share bigger photos and view them in full screen mode with pinch to zoom controls, and a whole lot more.   1. Does it change personal information on your account (like your email address) without your permission like the browser version does?

  2. not much of different if you ask me.

  3. Does this updated version actually work properly? The change-log says “more reliable push notifications” however the last 2 revs have had broken push notifications, so I’m using a really old version that does work at the moment.

    1. Guess we’ll have to wait and see..
