Droid RAZR HD Pops Up In Cellebrite System With Model Number XT926

19

We’re getting closer, folks. The Droid Razr HD (XT926) has officially begun showing up in 3rd party Cellebrite systems. While normally this wouldn’t be indicative of an imminent release (corporate Verizon stores are better for that), this one is accompanied by a more official model number. According to previous leaks, the Droid Razr HD (aka “Droid Fighter”), was targeted to launch sometime this month, but for one reason or another, has eluded us thus far.

Expect all the bells and whistles of current top of the line Android phones (including an S4 processor), the Droid Razr HD will finally bring Motorola up to speed with the 720p equipped devices we’ve seen offered for months now from the likes of HTC, Samsung, Sony and even LG.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  1. Wait, I thought the Droid RAZR had an HD screen already. :/

  2. NOOB QUESTION. What’s Cellebrite?

    1. Device used to transfer information from device to another.

  3. Wow moto releasing a million phone’s again Lol what a joke.

    1. because other OEMs release less phones? Or should they not release phones?

Android gets a new innovation every 3 months. Makes sense to put it into a phone.

      1. I know, they have slowwed down on the number of devices released and still we hear b!tch!ng. They are now releasing about as often as HTC and Samsung. Now instead of hearing b!tch!ng about how many they release we now hear about how many/few they release. I think people are just confused what to b!tch about, but they know moto is the subject.

    2. How is releasing one phone equal to “moto releasing a million phone’s again”??? Troll harder next time.

  4. Just announce already, I like the camera & video quality on motorolas, the video sound is also the best.

    1. Seriously? Moto cameras are horrible. I doubt this camera will be any better despite the bump in megapixels.

Also, call me crazy, but I like having physical buttons. = /

  5. I think I’ll pass on this for the inevitable Droid Razr HD Maxx 32gb 4G LTE OMGWTFBBQ

  6. Better have upgraded Processor (S4 dual // Quad (I love this :)) together with Super AMOLED HD and GSM Capability ….. I’ll pick this over SGS3 anyday :D

  7. Untill they start allowing people to unlock their phones I won’t buy ANY Moto phone. Too bad though I kind of like this one.

  8. Slide is so right sorry Sure…maybe you smoke alot of mota or something but, I have owned about four Motos…the cams have suckted on all of them. I believe they have done better with video however…but using their cams has not been a load of fun. Video sound quality is about the top thing Moto has had over anyone. I probably will still get this however ijust pray they get the cam right for once.

  9. Nice to see some solid info and not a rumor. Im hoping this phone comes out before the end of july because I want tocall have it for a trip im taking. As for the cameras the one on my DX takes great pictures that rival my canon.

  10. ihave a Dx as well…don’t know what kind of cannon you have but…cant be that good if the X beats it at times.

  11. Agreed @ yourthom. Live sound microphone profile on my Bionic takes the most incredible audio during video, with no distortion and a full soundstage. Hoping Moto can deliver on a better camera lens and better supporting code!

  12. I just checked mine, and the SCH-i535 is also on it.

*cough* That’s the Galaxy S3 on Verizon *cough*

  13. Could care less bout Motorola RAZR. Its only for Verion I doubt they will make RAZR phone for any other carriers
