Rumor: DROID Incredible 4G LTE to cost $150 after mail-in rebate

13

Verizon wasn’t ready to dive into too many availability details when they first announced the new HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE, but it seems we have at least one side of the story confirmed. According to materials received by Droid-Life, the DROID Incredible 4G could be coming in at $150 under a new two-year agreement.

This falls in line with the competitive price point that Verizon was trying to introduce the phone at in order to attract more wallets. For it to be any higher would be a bit of an insult considering this phone isn’t quite as powerful as other S4 phones on competing carriers. In any case, this’ll be a pretty affordable option up against other 4G phones in Verizon’s arsenal.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. TAKE MY MONEY, VERIZON. Release this phone! (and then refund $50 of my money).

  2. It pisses me off so much that Verizon won’t be getting a One S or X variant. All they want is to focus on their motorola DROID line and I f’ing hate motoblur.

    1. This is their One S variant…or as close as Verizon will come.

      1. Slower processor without ImageSense. HTC even said that this isn’t a One S variant.

      2. More like the One V variant…

        1. It is closer to the One S in regards to internal specs.

          1. Close isn’t good enough..

  3. I’m going to wait still a little longer and bet that this will be $99 by the end of the summer. If not on Verizon, on Amazon Wireless.

    1. I have a $50 upgrade deal from Best Buy still waiting for me, luckily. So this may be $99 for me on launch day from BB.

  4. Verizon is starting to lag in comparison with th offerings of other major carriers. Then their upgrade process for os versions absolurely suck. They even hold the galaxy nexus back from upgrades. I cant wait until other carriers 4g lte gets up and running si we can at least have options. This phone is a down grade frim the rezound if u ask me!

    1. Only in screen size and resolution and internal storage is it a downgrade from the Rezound. Everything else about this phone kills the Rezound.

  5. My Account Rep Told Me This Phone Was Gonna Be $299 And Then It Has The $50 Rebate.

  6. Seems like a phone like this should come out with a phone or phones that is bigger and better.
