Rumored Tegra 4 roadmap leaked

7

NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang has gone on record to state that we can expect a new version of Tegra every year, keeping which in consideration we can expect them in the market towards the end of the year or early next year.

As to what Tegra 4 will pack, we will only know for certain when NVIDIA themselves disclose the information, but if the leak found by Chinese site VR-Zone turns out to be true, we could be seeing a few variations of it. One even includes on-board LTE and an A9 architecture, while the rest are all A15 with varied clock frequencies.

VR-Zone also believes that Q1 2013 is the targeted release date.

  1. Oh, I think I’ll just wait for those phones then. :P

  2. tegra 4 is going to support directx 11 and OpenGL

  3. 10 core..LOL

  4. Rumors is that it will be a quad core chip with 32 and 64 Gpu cores my guess 32 for phones and 64 for tablets and new Windows 8 pc, as well as servers.

  5. I hope they take their time improving on theit current quad core arcitecture rather then once again pushing for more cores so yhey can clsim to be the first to do whatever it is they do.

They were the first to release a duel core with their first Tegra which was a disappointment and rather then fine tuning that they just had to be the first quad core and look what happening. Everyones releasing duel cores that out perform it.

Take ur time Nvidia. Stop rushing just to be the guy that posts “FIRST”

  6. I’m more than ok with tegra 3.

  7. And to think Im still using an OG Galaxy S. Single core works fine so far
