Just in time to doodle your crushes name over and over or draw hearts all over screenshots of their text messages, the Samsung Galaxy note has launched in Canada on TELUS and Bell, and should go live at Rogers any time now. The Note will take advantage of Canada’s LTE networks and also features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android Gingerbread with TouchWiz, and utilizes Samsung’s S Pen stylus for input. The release marks the beginning of the Note’s North American rollout. It will land on AT&T in the States at the beginning of next, gracefully turning the page to what Samsung will unveil at Mobile World Congress.
My next phone. Waiting for Sprint to pick it up!
I keep thinking that I should laugh at this huge thing, but then I think about how its screen size isn’t so different from that of my Galaxy Nexus, so I shut up and go back to my business.
What a crap phone. Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S = ONLY good Samsung phones. The rest are destroyed by [removable] horrific software and horrible build. Galaxy S II? Too ‘square’ feeling…eurgh
dude wake up.
Nexus S < Galaxy S2
Galaxy Nexus < Galaxy Note
Read the specs and check the release dates
(Hint: SDcard, fm radio, camera, cpu, gpu..)
You must be an Apple groupie. You have no idea of what you’re talking about.
The photo above looks the size of a GSII… Or the person’s hand is absolutely huge and is dwarfing the Note. Either way, I’d love a GNote, especially after I heard Wacom is powering its stylus. Years in the creative industry have led me to have the utmost respect for Wacom, they are the king of pen input by far.
