HTC to Unveil Latest Goods February 26th

23

Members of the press have been receiving invites from HTC to join them on February 26th, likely for a grand unveiling of some nice phones. The announcement is being made in Barcelona and the only thing I can think of happening throughout that time is none other than Mobile World Congress. We’ll be on hand to bring you guys all the coverage live so be on the lookout when that time arrives!

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Ready for some sexy, big, quad core phones from htc :)

    1. So we can gather from his posts that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will have a quad core CPU running at 1.5-1.6 Ghz, 720p screen, 12 Mpx camera, Ice Cream Sandwich, battery tweaks, and for sale in April. Beast!

      1. If that were all true, then I just found my next phone.

    2. No thanks, u can keep it.

    3. Yeahright. We’ll (US) probably be the last ones to get it too. And it’ll be just in time for the next Android build and subsequent Samsung press release telling us all to eff off, they’ll get to it when they get to it. No thanks. If I wanted an iCrap I’d get an iCrap.

  2. Hopefully they tweak their design a bit.  I’m all for clean appearance, but its a fine line between that and boring.  HTC has been on the wrong side of that line lately.

    1. I don’t know what phones that this comment covers but the EVO 3D’s design has been and continues to be awesome. I would love a 5″ screen and a 16MP Zoom lense (ala Polaroid’s upcoming phone).

  3. I wish they would release these new phones now! I can’t wait.

  4. Please have some 5″ phones… And please change up Sense and LAUNCH these phones with ICS!

    1. I absolutely love Sense. If they touch it…just make it even better.

      1. i used to love sense, until i touched the galaxy nexus… ooh baby.   Only thing i can think of that sense has that ICS needs is some more sexy widgets

  5. Here is to hoping that they release something interesting for sprint. I have been so underwhelmed by them of late.

  6. Am i in the minority? please no more huge fucking phones, I am 6 ft tall i dont have small hands but I do like to operate all aspects of my phone with one hand, I do ok on the Evo, but I dont want a larger phone, contemplating jumping ship.

    1. you have plenty of choices.  but yes you are in the minority.  so don’t ruin it for the rest of us.  the market wants big display phones.  that is the trend.

      1. boo!

      2. big display yes, big phone no… give me a phone no bigger then the original EVO but make it all screen and i’d be super happy

    2. I completely agree – maybe more diversity of smaller and humungo phones. Seriously the Sensation was too big for me to use with one hand and the rounded sides made things even worse. I liked the phone but I need something a smidge smaller.

    3. Yes, I think we’re unfortunately in the minority.  I love my original Droid Inc and am loathe to part with it because every other phone on the market with decent specs is 4.3″ or larger.  As a 5’7″ female with fairly small hands, I too would like a phone that I can operate easily with one hand.

  7. In need of a phone to match my Prime. The Evo will always be a beast but its time to let it hibernate and get a new phone..either the SGS3 or the new EvO. 2 yr contrct almost up too …WHOOO!!!!

  8. Krait rocking htc’s are always welcome

  9. The next evo would be awesome if they kept the same size and width of original evo but upgrade screen, processor, put the kickstand from the thunderbolt on it. I don’t mind capacitive buttons but don’t mind if they we’re all screen, but add a search button!

  10. Christ….i do hope HTC actually do some pre testing/qualifying their new wares…the amount of times i get forced close or have to reboot my “2nd” Sensation XE is a fooking nightmare.

i actually think, when my contracts out im moving over to Samsung for a new Nexus…still waiting for Google tablet to blow the shit out of Apple….COME ON HTC  sort you’re testing out before release!!!
