GetJar and Gameloft Team Up to Offer Asphalt 6 for Free via GetJar Gold


GetJar have been building up their Android app store and have been trying to gain steam by offering free premium apps in their GetJar Gold program. They have announced another big addition and partnership today. Gameloft is joining the ranks for the first time and their first app is a doozy: Asphalt 6. SAN MATEO, Calif. – January 24, 2012 – GetJar, the world’s largest free app store, today announced that Asphalt 6, the adrenaline-pumping racing game from Gameloft is now available for free on GetJar Gold. This is GetJar’s first title fromGameloft, one of the world’s premier publishers of mobile games.

Asphalt 6 lets you discover 42 different cars and bikes from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Ducati and many more, and tear up the streets of Los Angeles,Tokyo, the Bahamas and other amazing locations. Drive against tough opponents in different leagues with online and local multiplayer for up to six players.

Asphalt 6 is one of more than 100 free, ultra-premium apps available to consumers on GetJar Gold. GetJar makes over $250 worth of apps free to consumers and gives away up to $300,000 worth of free apps each day.

  2. Be warned. This games does require an additional download to work. This can ONLY be done over wifi. It will not allow the download to be done over any type of mobile network.

  3. Hey KEN,if you have the GET JAR app loaded,just scroll down until you see “more….”,& press on it.That will take you to the next page,then,look up at the top left hand corner of the page,press on “GOLD”.

    That will take you to the page w/premium apps for free & ADRENALINE6 should be the very 1st one on the list.

  6. The sad thing about getjar is that even though you download some of the premium apps offered fo free, if you try to update them via the Android Market, it says “cannot find license” :(

    1. And you can’t update through getjar itself? Because I can’t update Amazone appstore apps through android market, but I can through amazon appstore itself

  9. The SD files are 500 megs. Just letting everybody know. It’s definitely worth it but it doesn’t work on my galaxy nexus yet :/

  10. this game is simply awful. I actually regret spending all of .99 on it. knowing what i know now, i wouldn’t bother cluttering my phone with this junk even for free.
