Papa John’s Commemorating Android Launch With 25% Off, Galaxy Nexus Giveaways

22

The folks at Papa John’s are finally on Android (we covered it here) and to celebrate they’re giving Android users a great exclusive deal. When using the coupon code DROID when ordering from their app you’ll receive 25% off of your order – that’s no small discount at all. On top of that, from now through the end of the year (It’s only a few days, we know) they’ll be giving away a Galaxy Nexus each day. To enter, you’ll have to like their Facebook page (yes, even  those of you who opt out of using social networks) and enter. Papa John’s pizza is pretty good so be sure to give them a try if you’re looking for pizza some random night. [Facebook, Twitter via Androinica]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. There is over a million likes on their facebook page. There was a better chance of winning a holidroid contest than that… =p

    1. Lets be real here there was no better chance at winning a holidroid contest.

  2. another contest that discriminates against me for being anti facebook

    1. I’m with ya.  Deactivated my account last week.  The pros far outweigh the cons.

      1. I have never had one, i do have a G+ though. oh and congrats.

      2. Awesome. Me, too. Deactivated on the 18th and not looking back.

    2. If they were really into Android, they’d have a Google+ page.

      1. I am going to have to second this one. G+ is pretty much integrated with Android.

    3. Indeed.  It’s very petty, IMO.  How does liking something on FB generate revenue?  I know literally half of the world is on FB, but some of us don’t like to tell everyone our life story.  Oh well, my wife has a FB account, so I’ll get her to do it =p.

      1. It simultaneously builds brand recognition and equity, and it’s very cheap to offer up a few Nexus’s than to pay for a real advertising campaign… Those 3 million+ are selling themselves out to PJ’s shitty pizza, and advertising to all their friends that they like it in exchange for a slim chance to win a prize. Not a trade I’m willing to make.

      2. It also allows them to show upcoming deals through their status updates, which ultimately will cause some/many people to buy from them

      3. Wow really? how does something like facebook generate revenue? is this a serious question? i am appalled if it is…. facebook is one of the biggest ad spaces on the net and its free

        1. That wasn’t my question.

I’m appalled at your being appalled too =p.

  3. Papa John’s and good should not be used in the same sentence.

    1. It very well should their special garlic is the best as well as their pizza’s

    2. true but they can use ‘fan-effing-tastic- in the same sentence as long as they are giving away a galaxy nexus

  4. Anybody else see the pic of PJ tossing a pizza on the Fb page and thought it was Photoshopped?

  5. damnit quentyn..thx for making my chances of winning this even less

  6. The sad part about this so-called 25% off “promo” is that it basically pays for you delivery & sales tax.

  7. This website Printapons is too cool. I use promo codes alot and hate having to look all over the place for them.

  8. uhh why do they want my address to enter?
