The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

How do you submit screen shots? I had a funny one I wanted to share with you all, but couldn’t figure out how to send it in.

    1. Hold power and click screenshot.

      1. He didn’t mean how to take it. He meant how to share the screenshot he took with the the phandroid writers.

        1. Thanks, I was just getting ready to reply with the exact comment. :)

      2. ummm, what? push volume down + power button for a second.

    2. Upload it to imgur.com and link it when when you send in the “news” tip.
(if you mean an image in the comments right here… just clicky the +image button? derp)

      1. Perfect, exactly what I was looking for :)

    3. Oh Andy… (Andy Dufrain… not the Andy the robot :)

      1. God I love that movie.

      2. Dufresne…

        1. Oh so now *you’re* going to be obtuse about speeling! :)

      3. I wish I could tell you that Andy fought the good fight, and the Sisters let him be. I wish I could tell you that – but prison is no fairy-tale world. He never said who did it, but we all knew. Things went on like that for awhile – prison life consists of routine, and then more routine. Every so often, Andy would show up with fresh bruises. The Sisters kept at him – sometimes he was able to fight ’em off, sometimes not. And that’s how it went for Andy – that was his routine. I do believe those first two years were the worst for him, and I also believe that if things had gone on that way, this place would have got the best of him.

  4. He should reply with “Reliable?”

  5. It looks like a GNex with an iPhone messaging app???
The phone is also on 3G …..

Other than that what’s the gag?

    1. 4G is/was down.

    2. It’s Handcent with the iPhone New theme. And yes it’s showing 3G because the network has been down most of the morning!

    1. Ditto. And where are all the ads for the Gnex? Does it even exist (except in our hands)?

      1. Ditto.  R2D2. Strange.

    2. oh man, I bet that is the droid that someone is looking for!

      1. I see what you did there.

  8. didn’t get the text message, but got the email several times last saturday. “be the first to know” my ass!

  9. The messaging app is handcent SMS. Available from the market :-)

    1. yep, and with a theme loaded that doesn’t make it look like the iphone SMS app, it is actually really neat! first thing I did was make my text bubble have the smallest font possible, who needs to read the text they just wrote?

      1. I LOVE the Metal theme for Handcent.  I’ve been using that theme for over a year now.  Looks awesome.

  10. i think it was referring to the “4G LTE” text but if you look at the signal above.. its 3G

    1. Yeah, and touting the reliability of the network at the same time.

  11. I got this a couple days ago haha

  12. yea that messaging app looks too much like the iCrap

not sure why he’d want to do that, but whatever, it’s a funny picture with 3g service, and a 4g text…
