Samsung Invites Media to See How They’re Pushing the Boundaries of Innovation

28

Samsung has sent invitations to the media for an event they’re having at CES to show off their new goods. They claim that their event will help show us how they’re pushing the boundaries of innovation.

As always, there’s no way to truly and accurately tell what Samsung will be showing. I should note that this is not Samsung Mobile we’re speaking of here – this is Samsung as a whole. Will we even see Android stuff? Who knows? But that’s why these shindigs are always exciting. [via]

  11. Transparent tab?

  12. Galaxy S III, and Market available TouchWiz 5 launcher application (root and non-root versions).

Yeah, I know… everyone but me hates TouchWiz.

…I never did understand why the folks like Moto, Sammy, and such haven’t made market versions of their launchers/widgets…

    1. To them, its a selling point for their devices and differentiation from other manufacturers. What would be the point in Motorola or anybody else making a skin if all the other manufacturer’s phones could have it too.

      1. I suppose they could sell it, but yeah, I get your point.

  13. i actually think it would be funny if it was a galaxy s 3,after all these people waited in line to buy the nexus

  14. its obvious it’ll be the flexible amoled screens.

  15. Has any of you got a Samsung SmartTV @ home? Its the best thing ever…Just imagine with Google/Android TV on it….dream

  16. I’m hoping for a AMOLED TV of at least 32″ that doesn’t cost over $10K. Not that I can afford a 32″ tv for $10K in the 1st place.

  17. Att lte galaxy nexus, sgs3 that will be released in the states first this time. The galaxy note and tab 7.7 coming to the states. Any and all of these would make me happy especially if they all came to att att the same time as the other carriers. See I’m not greedy, I’m wishing this for all of us.

  18. new era of Touch”suck”wiz?, i can accept that. if closer to vanilla ICS

  19. BK Yoon is in charge of Samsung’s TV division… and he’s hosting it.

I wonder what products they will be showing off???

    1. All new Samsung TVs will have ICS with Touchwhiz.

  20. I’d just be happy with the release of a wi-fi Tab 7.7, decently priced.
