ZTE V66 Passes Through FCC With Verizon 4G LTE – Possible Rebranded Tegra 3 ZTE T98?

2

Sprint will have the V55 and now it looks like ZTE will be bringing another version of their tablet to Big Red. The V66 has just made it past an FCC filing not revealing too much except for that all too familiar Verizon 4G LTE tramp stamp on its lower back. The ZTE V66 could have the same rumored specs of Sprint’s V55 giving it a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and running Android 3.2 Honeycomb on a 7-inch 1280×800 resolution screen.

Not too long ago, ZTE showed off the T98 at a tech exp in China and if the Verizon V66 and Sprint V55 are just a rebranding of that device — it’s possible we’re looking at a 7-inch, quad-core Tegra 3 tablet. We don’t see much of ZTE here in the states but it looks like all that’s about to change in 2012. We’ll keep you guys posted as we learn more.
