Sony Ericsson Nozomi Spied Again In The Wild – Shows Off Sexy Good Looks For The Camera

22

The Sony Ericsson Nozomi (LT26i) was spotted again in the wild thanks to this new leaked photo appearing on Techorz. Just one look at that display and I can tell you, right now – without a doubt – that girl is packing a 720p HD resolution screen. And it looks wonderful too. Not exactly sure what those 3 glowing dots are just beneath the screen, especially when the glowing strip of physical buttons can be found directly below.

Rumored specs include a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 12MP camera and possibly Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. I’m expecting this device to have a few tricks up its sleeve when it’s rumored to be unveiled at CES in January. Can’t wait.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  1. Physical Buttons that are tiny and glowy? YES PLEASE!!!

I really love this phone! and I think those dots might be Sony’s skin of the 3 ICS on-screen buttons when they are not in use?

  2. the 3 dots look to be the home back and menu button

    1. they are outside of the screen.. you can make out the outline. I would assume that they are playing around with the LED indicator on their phones (all phones need this) that tells a new message has arrived or something.

I remember on the x1 it was 4 leds around the entire edge of the phone, but then the x10 made it just one led in the top corner.

  3. So much bezel is a turn off on a phone for me.

  4. don’t the ICS buttons on the Galaxy Nexus also turn into glowing dots when not active?

    1. In certain apps they do.  Like the camera etc.

    2. Some apps turn to dots (like the Camera), some hide the completely (like YouTube). The vast majority of apps leave them as the default.

  5. Don’t care for the bezel either.  I’m not waiting around for it as I’m getting a Nexus.  Been waiting since last March to get a phone (first the Bionic then the Nexus).  Not sure I would want a phone made by Sony.

    1. Why? because their phones feel better than Samsung and you’ve grown too accustomed to cheap plastic?

    1. SEXY!!! embrace the monolith!

  6. 12mp camera what!!!!!!

    1. It’s almost the same with my digital camera. :p

  7. You guys are retarded sony isn’t that bad..

    1. apparently you havent owned a sony phone in the past year….. It took forever for the X10 to go from 1.6 to 2.1.

      1. That was 2010, this year they have been right at the forefront of updates

  8. If this is the new direction for Sony phones, I’m liking the new look.

  9. The device sports uniquely designed chassis that surely captivated my eyes.

  10. Nozomi. why that name?

    1. BECAUSE CODE

    2. SE uses code names internally for devices.. it wont be the offical name when released. its the name of their fastest train or something like that in japan. cant remember but I believe the arc and x10 were named after some kinda fish.. could be totally off but they both had internal codes names as well.

  11. i cant wait for phones to just say “SONY” :)
