Verizon Giving Away a Droid RAZR each Day in December

Want to get your hands on the Droid RAZR by Motorola? Here is your chance. Simply fill out an entry form and share a message from Moto and Verizon on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #30DaysofRAZR and you could be bringing home a super slim new smartphone. For how easy it is, you have no reason to not at least give it a try.

While I have your attention, I hope you have been following Phandroid‘s own Holidroid contest. We are giving away a Kindle Fire each day up until Christmas along with a selection of other great prizes. We post a new challenge each day (including one dropping later today) so you will want to keep your eyes glued to the site. The day’s challenge and rules vary, but you will always have the chance to grab some great gear.

    Real Cool Verizon!

    1. Well, I guess you’ll have a good chance to win if you live in those states….considering they knocked out like 40 states. Lolz

      1. Well since they said “and” I guess you’d have to be a resident of all 11 states to win…

        1. Tricky, Verizon, very tricky. Trying to get free publicity off my Facebook?!? Not today! hahahah

    2. What’s even better, is that when you go to enter the contest, all 50 states are listed in the drop-down for state, even though only 10 states can enter. Dirty, dirty tricksters trying to get free advertising.

      1. And they never mention once that your entry doesn’t count….damn fine print.

  2. Just a heads up, according to Droid-Life you “Must be a legal resident of NC, SC, TN, AL, GA, FL, MS, AR, LA, OK, and TX 18 years or older to enter.” That sucks.

    1. Ignoring the “and” part of that, it’s still ridiculous

  3. WOW we never get any love in the land of gumps, sweet!

  4. So basically California can go to hell?

What a limited give a way

    1. And most of the rest of the country…

      1. I hate reading fine print

      1. Ima see if I can get it for a penny. I usually buy a phone and sell it to somebody after I unlock it. The phone can ship for 12 bucks and you can sell it for 200. Make some major profit like I do

      2. Amazon already had them for .01 and free delivery. I figured what the heck, a solid, sleek looking phone, at least qualifies for A4.0 and doesn’t feel fragile as the plastic it is built in. Oh, and available now and in my hands which means no more reading the “…could the Galaxy Nexus be delivered by December 2012…” posts I see here every other freakin’ day. Plus it got me out of using the mediocre washed screen Atrix and the crappy Ain’t Talking and Texting AT&T service (can you even call that service? I even had a 3g Mini Tower that only worked occasionally). I’m digging the RAZR so far and they will all be old/otdated by January when the Nexus Galaxy 5G and RAZR Hologram is announced “The so Skinny you can only see a picture of it phone…”

  5. I hope AT&T comes out with one too because they had the original razor to start with.

  6. Mmmm this doesn’t include wireless service as part of the prize.  No thank you, I have no desire to get locked into another Verizon Wireless money grab.

    1. lol i use tmobile but is verizon really that bad? Arent they all pretty much the same now?

  7. I would give the RAZR away too…just saying.

    1. hahaha

    2. The razr is the best device inside and out. The nexus has mad bugs and is very thick.

      1. 1, thats been fixed, and its 9.7mm………last i chacked thats thin, the razr is only 2mm thinner

        1. 2 mm thinner makes a difference :)

  8. who cares.  Galaxy Nexus. ill pay for one.

    1. You are an idiot. The nexus is a failure.

      1. Youre an idiot the razr is a failure.

        1. You are the only idiot in here if you think that way. The razr has it all.

  9. Awesome for to be living in GA now! Go south!

  10. Limited states can enter, but also when you try to Tweet a message, Verizon says:

This application will be able to:Read Tweets from your timeline.
See who you follow, and follow new people.
    Update your profile.
    Post Tweets for you.

Seems fair to me. I have no chance at winning anything, and you take over my Twitter account. Brilliant.

    1. I can’t recall… what do other Twitter share request want you to agree to? Not this much, the same, or more?

  11. ” Final sweepstakes ends December 30, 2012 at 11:59pm PST”
LOL 2012  —  the RAZR will be EOL before the contest ends according to the “insider” !
Did anyone at VZW review this before it went live?

  12. As a razr owner i can say this phone is fast! With that said i can’t recommend the razr till
    A. Motorola unlocks the bootloader
    B. Release sbf and fastboot file
    C. Update to ice cream sandwich
Or all 3 but if unleashing the razr’s full potential isn’t a priority i say go for it me personaly im waitin for ces and mwc before i switch phones meanwhile ics should be out nxt month

  13. “Must be a legal resident of NC, SC, TN, AL, GA, FL, MS, AR, LA, OK, and TX”  WTF is that sh*t!?!
even ignoring the “and” part of that, it’s still ridiculous

  14. This contest is only open to states in “The South”  …!/VerizonInsider/status/142739538958225408

  15. And what about those of us whom do not tweet?

  16. How about the fact that Verizon wants full access to your account? They can us that RAZR to cut their own throats before I give over access to my personal info. Nothing is free people.

  17. It’s to make a few lucky people feel better when the RAZR Max hits in January.
