QuickOffice Pro 5.0 Brings Updated User Interface, Social Networking Features and More


Our friends at QuickOffice have updated their Android application to version 5.0, bringing with it a lot of cool and important changes. First up, we’ve gotten a bit of a user interface upgrade to make things easier to use.

They’ve also added social networking integration, allowing you to share your documents on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Yammer, Scribd, SlideShare and Docstoc. Furthermore, they’ve implemented Evernote, Catch and Egnyte to access and save documents to those services.

This is easily one of the most fully-featured office suites in the Android market after this upgrade and deserves your consideration. Find the full list of changes below and find the upgrade in the Android market (tablet, phone).

  1. Support for Microsoft Office 2010 files
  2. Access and save to Evernote, Catch, and Egnyte
  3. Share files using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, SlideShare, Docstoc, Scribd, and Yammer
  4. Updated user interface for easier navigation and control
  5. Freeze panes, split/merge cells, and wrap cell text in spreadsheets
  6. Create and indent numbered lists, bulleted lists in documents
  7. More fonts in documents and presentations
  8. Improved slide rendering and layout in PowerPoint files
  9. many more great new enhancements!

  2. I think I am confused I have the sensation and didn’t this come preloaded?
    .it shows as an update in the market but won’t download the update weird.
    I can open the app up but when I go to try an update via the app it still shows current version. maybe us sensation users r s o l

    1. the one that you have is probably the regular version(quick office) that t-mobile provides i had it on my g2 but i had to buy quick office pro it was like 7.99 they had a 50% discount
