Android Powered Bartender Mixes Drinks On The Fly

7

Of all the things I’ve seen the Android’s ADK pull off, I’d have to say – I never saw this one coming. Say hello to the Android powered iZac (the looooooove booooat) looking to automate the jobs of bartenders everywhere. This robotic bartender is able to mix cocktails chosen on the included Android tablet using a series of aquarium pumps and valves, delivering your Long Islands or Mojitos down to a .035 ounce accuracy. Let’s see a fleshy bartender do that.

Patrons can even opt for the “I’m feeling lucky” option, in which a drink will be mixed at random using the available spirits sure to get you and your friends whiteboy-wasted in no time. Check out the video below to see it all in action.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.
