HTC Amaze Said to be Hitting Telus on November 4th

7

Telus is just about ready to launch the HTC Amaze – we knew that. But it looks like we may have a solid date to expect its arrival. MobileSyrup has received evidence that Telus will be making it available on November 4th (that’s only two days from now) starting at $100 on a new three year agreement. Other prices incclude $500 and $550 for two year and one year deals, respectively.

The HTC Amaze is a doozy of a phone, touting its 4.3 inch qHD display, 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP 720p HD rear camera, 2MP front camera and more. For $100 and a three year agreement you might want to take more than just one quick look before making a purchase decision.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. $500 for 2 years damn luckily I don’t live up north

    1. Yep, its messed up here. your 2 year contracts are like our 3 year contracts.

      1. In the case of Telus, their 3 year contracts offer a hell of a good price for a phone. Thing is, you’re going to be with that carrier the rest of your life unless you pay the fee to cancel.

        The 2 year contracts are bad enough. They give you a phone that works for a year and a half, just to make you re-sign right before your contract is up. Pure evil.

  2. 8===> no

  3. dont u mean 1080p rear camera. ive noticed these guys never proofread their work

  4. It’s really a shame that they can get away with charging you guys that much on a 2 yr contract. How much are they trying to sell it for off contract. It’s very sad the direction cell companies are heading in.

  5. i was going to do a 2yr contract but definitely not now that i see what they are pricing it at, might as well buy the phone outright at the price.  But then the 3yr deal is amazing and just too hard too pass up, makes the phones cheaper than in the states for once lol.

    If you have been with a carrier for a long time (been with telus for almost 10yrs now) they will let you renew earlier.  In a three year contract i can renew for free 6 months early and one year early costs only like $100.  So in reality i can get a 2 year contract for $200, or cheaper since they give me credits on top of that for new phones.
