T-Mobile’s Bobsled Comes to Android

3

T-Mobile has brought their Bobsled app to Android. No, it won’t let you recreate the Jamaican Bobsledding Team from Cool Runnings. Bobsled is a VoIP app for Facebook users to call each other free. With the Android app, you can call your friends who have the app on the desktop version, Android or iOS.

More than just chatting, it enables you to leave voice messages on your friends’ profiles if for whatever reason they’re not available for a call. We’ve seen this sort of thing before but we can appreciate options. It’s a free download in the Android market for all devices.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. patiently waiting for it to become available for google+.

  2. Verizon won’t let me download and install it!!!!! Need apk so I can side load it.

Or I wonder if downloading it via wifi will work? Will try later.

Update: message now on my Droid X says “Download size requires Wi-Fi”. Hmmm…..

    1. 2 things:

      1) I was getting the message b/c I had turned on the Data Saver option which restricts Market downloads to wifi.

      2) But even after turning Data Saver off I still could not download and install Bobsled or any other app. After several resets I was able to download and install Bobsled and other apps. May it was a VZW network glitch!?
