Best Buy Mistakenly Replaces User’s Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with an 8.9

Someone going to Best Buy to get his faulty Galaxy Tab 10.1 exchanged got a bit more (or less, depending on how you feel about it) than what he bargained for. Instead of giving him the same model he had previously, a Best Buy employee accidentally gave him a Tab 8.9 instead. That means they’re in stock and absolutely should be launching very soon (we’re hearing tomorrow, but anything can happen). Now, to go see if I can exchange this old busted Dell laptop for an Eee Pad Slider… [Android Central]

        1. Just a quick question, the 7.7 is a 1.4Ghz exynos yes? And the 10.1 and 8.9 are both Tegra 2?

          1. Yup that’s why 7.7 beats the crap outta all others.
            Exynis CPU > Tegra

  2. 10″ is too big anyway. I wish I didn’t buy a 10″. 8-7″ is probably nicer.

  3. I’d be pissed. That’s 13% less surface area. That’s like sending my wife to the doctor for a sore throat and she comes home with 13% smaller breasts.

  5. Well lets see what happens if I bring my almost 2 year old Nexus One to best buy, maybe I walk out with a Nexus Prime lol. Maybe Toyota does the same thing, could really use a new car :P
