It was only a few hours ago that HTC announced the details on their brand new HTC Rhyme smartphone and now it seems the “Quietly Brilliant” team has begun sending out invites for a press conference/party to be held in the UK on October 6th. Of course, we can only speculate what device (or devices) they will be announcing but some are speculating it could be the European launch of their upcoming HTC Vigor smartphone. The HTC Vigor will be HTC’s new flagship device featuring a 720p HD resolution screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor and more than likely, some fancy Beats integration. We’ve seen rumors the device could hit Verizon in early October so this event fits perfectly into that schedule. So mark your calendars and we’ll keep you posted.

Who cares it’s in the UK so it won’t be anything for the U.S. Lets get some vigor news like another leak about the release date that radioshack had.

I never said it did. Do you have any info on performance of the vigor? I know you can’t post the pic you have but if you heard anything how the vigor performs and if it is worth upgrading. Some tester said it was better than the prime if this is true I will def get the vigor since I like htc and they are pretty good with updates.

AWWWW! Killin’ me man :( I already have funds earmarked for this purchase. I just need a little more info just to ge me through to October! Between the positive buzz and the spectacular specs that we ALREADY know, the HTC Vigor (Droid Incred HD) can potentially be one the fastest/highest selling handsets that VZW has offered to date. It’s a shame that HTC took so long to jump the pond.

I wish they would have put sense 3.0 instead of 3.5 IMO sense 3.5 is ugly but maybe it will be lighter and not tax the dual core as much as sense 3.0 does and which caused lag on the sensation.
